Rig Safety Officer

Course Overview

The Rig Safety Officer Course is a comprehensive 6-month job-oriented training program designed to prepare candidates for safety-focused careers in the offshore and onshore oil & gas industry.

The program combines in-depth classroom instruction with practical hands-on training in occupational health and safety, hazard identification, risk assessment, emergency response, permit-to-work systems, fire prevention, environmental protection, and industry-standard HSE practices.

Students develop the technical knowledge, leadership skills, and safety awareness required to monitor workplace safety, enforce HSE regulations, conduct safety inspections, and promote a strong safety culture on drilling rigs and production facilities, ensuring safe and compliant operations.

6 Months (Theory + Practical Training)

Eligibility

  • Plus Two (Higher Secondary) or Above (SSLC candidates with relevant experience may also be considered)
  • Age: 18 to 35 Years (Preferred)
  • Physically Fit and Medically Eligible for Oil & Gas Industry Work
  • Basic English Communication Skills
  • Good Observation, Communication, and Leadership Skills
  • No Previous Oil & Gas Experience Required
